My husband and I love dogs! Our hope is that your dog feels like they are on vacation too. We do everything we can to have them feel as comfortable as possible. We have a lab named Lucy. She already enjoys having other dogs around. Safety: This is our top priority when caring for your dog. Some examples: -We avoid dog parks to protect your dog from a possible volatile situation. -We watch your dog the entire time they are in our fenced in backyard. We bring them inside even if we go upstairs to be sure they are safe. Special care: We only take one family's dog (or dogs if you have more than one) at one time so that it is as safe and comfortable as possible for your dog or dogs. House/yard: We live at the end of a cul de sac with a large, fenced in yard. The dogs can roam free inside and out of the house. We work from home so the dogs usually want to hang out with me but it's flexible for them. Affection: We like to give lots of affection so that your dog will feel like they are home as much as possible. We will brush your dog too if he/she likes it. Exercise: We will walk your dog once or twice a day depending on your request. They will get lots of exercise here. We live near a park that the dogs love. Sleeping: Your dog can sleep in our room, in a spare bedroom, downstairs or in a crate. Eating: We will honor any food requests you have and can administer any medication. Communication: I will give you frequent updates with pictures so that you feel completely at ease with your precious dog being away from you. We welcome any dogs except pit bulls. I currently work from home full time so I am available to take care of Lucy and the dogs we board. My husband is around too to help. We can walk them in the mornings and evenings or even mid-day if need be. Lucy our lab is a friendly dog who loves to play with other dogs. They get a lot of exercise with a large fenced in backyard.
