Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and as an adult was a dog owner for 12 years. I have fostered dogs during the pandemic via Homeward Trails. I dog sit for friends. My former dog had lots of behavioral and medical issues so I'm used to reactive dogs and administering medication.

Janet is wonderful! She does a great job of communicating and gives a lot of updates. She was really patient and flexible with me on scheduling and pick up.
Janet is our “go to” for our little reactive dog. Ginger loves her “slumber parties” at Janet’s.

Janet was the most wonderful host! She kept me up to date with videos and pictures of my pup which were very much appreciated. My dog came home happy and tuckered out (from his scenic walks) which is always the best. Looking forward to using her again!

I have a fenced patio for short potty breaks with a nice patch of grass. Five minutes away from a local/neighborhood dog park. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed.

Let me know your dogs quirks and likes or any behavioral issues. I have training in dog-to-dog aggression (would prefer that you've been working on this as well).
A typical day
I can provide stimulating training - sit, down, touch, to name a few. We will take lots of walks and stop and smell all the new smells. We can go to the local dog park. We will go to local parks on evenings and weekends. Most owners don't want their dogs to go to dog parks, and I adhere to their wishes.

I am currently working from home Mondays and Fridays and I prefer doing long weekends unless your dog can be left from 8-5 without a break. I can provide a walk before work, at 5pm and before bedtime. On weekends we can go for fun walks at local parks. Prefer dog sitting in my home. Clean and I don't worry about an accident or two.
