Pet care experience
I’ve been living full time in Joshua Tree since 2018 and enrolled at Copper Mountain College working towards a degree in auto mechanics. Ive owned dogs and cats my whole life and look forward to caring for the animals in my life! I currently own two small dogs and am lucky to have found a place close to a park. I have a front yard with a 6’ fence that locks. I’m from San Jose, and also lived in Los Angeles for 8 years near Dodger stadium. When I first visited Joshua Tree I knew my life would change again, and I’m grateful for the blessings I’ve received since enmeshing myself in this beautiful desert community. I stay active by taking walks and visiting local thrift stores. I like hunting for vintage clothes, barbecues, photography and sewing. Thank you for considering my home to provide care for your furry loved one :)

Janessa was awesome! We have a large shy dog and she did well handling him, taking it slow, and making sure he was comfortable. She sent some update pictures of how Chief was doing and that was cool. Would definitely recommend Janessa.
She was SO wonderful to my dog! She went above and beyond and offered to extra services that I love and we’re so helpful. My dog loves staying with her.
I have known Jenessa for a few years. She loves and takes wonderful care of her 2 dogs. Janessa took great care of me 18 year old cat. Not just food and water but time and attention. Janessa took care of my old man during the day so my husband and I could explore the area and go hiking in the park. She has two super sweet dogs that she has a great connection with, it’s obvious she takes good care of her home and animals. Would absolutely recommend to locals or tourists like us!

A typical day
I love to keep dogs stimulated and entertained. I have puzzle treat toys and a big yard to throw a ball around in. I have no problem loading up the pups and taking them to the local dog park for play dates.

Availability
My world revolves around making sure my pets are active and cared for. I am a full time student and spend my free time roller skating or working on assignments from class, and have worked an hour long visit to the dog park into my daily routine.
