Pet care experience
I have been caring for pets and farm animals for many years. I love all critters, from tiny to enormous I’m ready to take a challenge! I have been pet sitting for Rover for a year and a half in the Nashville area. I appreciate my clients and the wonderful pets I care for! Sadly, after April 26th I will be moving back to Montana temporarily. Please reach out for any April 2024 availability though!! 😊🥰🐈⬛🐕🐾
Reviews
Janessa takes great care of my cats when I'm out of town and continuously keeps me updated. I highly recommend her services for your fur babies!
Janessa was great! She was friendly and communicative, and she came prepared with treats to win over my shy dog. The whole experience was seamless.
This was our first time using a house/ pup sitting service. We've always been a bit nervous because our girls are either runners or highly anxious or don't do well with other dogs, etc. Janessa was great with our pups. She was attentive and conscientious with our older girls and made sure they were both cared for and had the attention they needed over the weekend. Thank you! We would love to use you again when you return to Nashville Janessa.
Janessa is awesome! She not only took care of my cat but really spent some quality time with her, and sent lovely updates. I came home to a happy cat :) Thank you!

Safety, trust & environment
Always make sure to walk in foot first in case someone has an escape artist. It’s important to not overwhelm the animal when you first come in. I like to look around for anything that might be a danger- trash sitting out, an open window, something sharp on the floor. I like to check my walking routes first before taking a dog so I know it’s safe for both of us. I keep my eyes on said pet when we’re outside so as to intervene dog eating something off the ground. My dog loves trash so it’s definitely something I’m vigilant about.
Information Janessa E. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any fear triggers (ie clapping, raised voice). How they handle other animals, if they can have treats, favorite games/toys. Medications or feeding techniques.
A typical day
My first activity of the day is taking out my old boy Raider. I love walks in nature or through neighborhoods! Walking along busy roadways does make me nervous so I am more likely to be found in a safer, quieter environment.
