Growing up I have always been around dogs, there was never a time our family did not have a dog. My parents always made us responsible for taking care of our dogs. When I got my current dog, Tater in high school, he was the first dog I trained. Tater is a Bassett Hound mix and anyone of you know Bassett Hounds they are very stubborn, so techniques my brother used on his dogs did not work for Tater. I had to figure what worked and did not work for Tater. Dogs are like humans in the aspect, they all have different personalities. When I work with dogs I focus on their personalities. I have been pet sitting and walking dogs since 10 year old.
