Janelle and her partner seemed like sweet people, but I had to edit my review to reflect the outcome of my dogs visit, which concluded with discovery of abt 3 abscesses from puncture wounds in his neck. I know things happen, but they assured me that they were okay wth watching him regardless of age or health conditions. I was extremely disappointed that they did not keep a closer eye on him interacting w their cat. At his age, an infection from a cat scratch could be detrimental. I guess maybe Janelle wasn’t aware of my messages after the visit- I tried telling her abt the scars and the vet visit, but I never got a reply or apology or anything. The vet visit with meds cost a little over $200, which is only a small amt short of Rover’s reimbursement policy for pet injury. Word to the wise: check your pets body for scars, blood, abscesses, or just general pain the moment you receive them from the sitter. Don’t leave until you’ve determined they are unharmed. I made the mistake and my dog has the scars to prove it.
