I currently work doing dog food promotions and will be starting a PT dog trainer position. My interest in pets started at the shelter level when I volunteered at age 19 for a few months. After a move I got a full time job at a shelter, and after a year, worked at a 2nd shelter congruently where I learned a lot of training and behavior management. I moved onto the medical side of things and have worked in a few animal hospitals as well, with some experience in the boarding kennels there also. I've been struggling to finish my online schooling at Penn Foster to become a certified vet tech, but no matter what, working with animals is my calling! I can provide references for these things. I will promote better leash skills and behavior all around. I am able to safely and effectively give medications, recognize early signs of early illness to recommend vet visits and work patiently to get pets over their fears of things like steps, and baths. I have real affection for seniors and love brushing out a furry friend! I don't currently have a dog because I am not in a place in my life to be the dog mom, (but I want one so badly!) so let me treat yours like my own!
