Pet care experience
I've had pets for my entire life. From cats to dogs, chickens to praying mantises. I've done cat-sitting for friends, including encouraging a problem eater and administering insulin shots. I'm good with dogs, using patient and gentle training techniques with my own animals. I only take one or 2 families at a time and if I already have a dog on my schedule, I'll match any others that I take that week in size and temperament.

Janell took good care of our puppy for a long stay -over a week and she sent us pictures daily.
This was our second time working with Janell and we already have her hired for next month. Our Koko is elderly, deaf, and going blind. Janell always makes sure she is comfortable and happy. She sends pictures, videos, and feedback every day so we can relax knowing Koko is being well cared for.
Janell was wonderful with Princess. She kept me updated throughout her entire stay. The pictures she sent were so cute and I really enjoyed getting them. I will book with Janell in the future.

Information Janell T. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what your dog likes to do, how much activity they like. What treats are okay? (I usually give a shred of cheese or a farm-fresh egg to entice dogs to eat when they're stressed out and not feeling happy enough to eat). Please bring your dog's favorite food, treats, bowl, and a crate if they're crate-trained. If your dog gets cold easy, bring a jacket and I'll make sure they've got it on when it's chilly outside.
A typical day
When your dog is with us, they will be treated like part of our family, indoors when we are and out in our large fenced yard when we are there with them. I like to keep all dogs on my property, safely inside my fence, where I will spend hours outside with them, letting them play with each other under supervision, or throwing a ball for them to chase. In the summer we have a kiddie pool for the dogs to cool off in if they want to. We also like to throw balls or sticks for dogs to chase.

Availability
I work from home except for a few hours on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, so your dog will never be without a potty break more than 4 hrs during the day. I have a teenager who does remote school, so there is almost always someone home and awake with your dog. I only do boarding and day care, so I'm not running all over town doing drop-ins and walks while your dog is at my house.
