We have about a 1 acre backyard where they can play. It’s long enough to throw a ball really far too! We are blessed to have a spacious 3000 sqft house so even the largest dogs are comfortable. We are a non-smoking household. We have a 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog that’s a friendly, gentle giant. We have two cats as well that keep to themselves, but the dogs that stay with us have to be friendly with cats and not chase them. We are lucky enough to have enough space that everyone can be spread out throughout the house. We do have area rugs throughout so that dogs don’t slip. We keep our home clean and free of things your dog can get into to keep the space safe. Dogs should be 100% potty trained and not have destructive habits like chewing things in the home.
