Pet care experience
Since I was 14, I've provided care and sitting for felines and canines (from challenging cases to simple sittings). For some, they merely needed someone to cuddle while their human was away. Others needed a weightloss plan, and for others they needed structured walks to prevent reactive situations. Regardless of the need, I've provided whatever the owner has needed for their loved family member. I'll wait on your furry family member, foot and paw!

In my home, I have a fenced backyard, and all furniture is pet furniture (if you want it to be). I also have XL crates available in case your pet prefers that space (3' high x 4' long x 2' deep). In your home, I am happy to abide by whatever house rules go.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or considerations, or particular interests and favorites. I am happy to sit and walk any type of dog, including reactive. But it is best if I know their needs in advance to better serve them. Also, if they prefer one thing over something else, I would like to pander to their preferences!
A typical day
I love engaging dog's minds and bodies through nose work, training, or mental engagement. Sniff-faris are particularly fun on walks. For those breeds/dogs that need more physical stimulation, fartleks (alternating running/walking for prescribed times or distances) is particularly effective. Where possible, I will take the pup around the local habitat or venture off onto trails that have low pest pressure (no ticks or mosquitos).

I work remote, amd have a very flexible schedule, so will have plenty of time to fit in walks, cuddles, or feedings with your furry family.
