Dogs to me are part of the family. When caring for them I treat them as part of the family and not some property to keep an eye on. I love to take them out on walks, have some play time with and just care for them with love and attention. I'm an experienced dog owner so I know their needs when their humans aren't home. And if I was leaving my dog with another pet sitter I know what sort of care and attention I would want them to give to my pooch. Of course every dog has different needs so I make sure to listen to them as best as possible. I've fostered adult dogs and I've fostered 4 month old puppies and know the different needs, attention, and patience that goes into each type of dog.
