Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats of my own since childhood up until very recently. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, board, and generally care for their pets for years. I love all animals and have a knack for getting to know their personalities and make friends quickly! I miss having animals in my life and look forward to getting to know yours.

Jane took excellent care of Sully. He has anxiety and some extra challenges with floors & she went above & beyond making him as comfortable as possible! Highly recommend and would happily use her again.
Jane was fantastic and communicative. She made sure Kirby was happy and comfortable. She took time to make sure Kirby got to know her and was ok. I’d definitely have her watch him again.
This was our second time leaving our dog with Jane and from how excited our dog was to see Jane when we dropped her off, we knew we were leaving her in great hands. Jane is super responsive and sends great updates and pictures every day. We look forward to continuing to have her watch our pup!
Jane was great my kitties are so happy. I can definitely tell a difference compared to when I’ve had friends cat sit, rover is the way to go and Jane is a great sitter!

I do lots of walks throughout the day with pets and have food and water on hand for longer trips. I also take pups to the nearest dog park or dog friendly park to run and play fetch if they are accustomed to it. In client's homes, I will often pop in to check on pets during the workday and provide comfort to skiddish pets that don't like to be alone and make sure they are fed, watered and comfortable. Each pet is different with different needs and preferences, so work to adapt my services as best as I can to fit you and your pets needs.

It's important to know about any special conditions and triggers your dog may have ahead of time such as required medications, if they're a senior, if they're very high energy, don't play well with others, etc.
A typical day
I like to stimulate mentally and physically the dogs I'm caring for. We play games, visit the dog park, and work on any training or tricks they may be training on at home. I have a typical pet-sitting day that starts with a morning walk, breakfast, lots of breaks to spend time together during the day, lunchtime walk, and evening walk and dinner. I like to adapt this to the pet I'm hanging out with, but I have a structured day ready just in case.
