I’ve taken care of dogs (and Cats) of every kind since I was 10… I regularly babysit one dachshund who was bred & born on our farm and will be 17 in November… he’s doing well Today!! I currently have a home with a 1 acre lot of which about a quarter is fenced in… I also have a run line for dogs who are used to being leashed.. I Do like crate Training… but not absolutely necessary. I have trained puppies and dogs to do tricks for me, and one of my dogs was good at washing his face! (On command) but typically sit, stay, shake, Speak, lay down and roll over are what I normally get! Ha! When I lived 'up-north' I was a trusted in home border for rescued dogs and cats.... Taking in problem dogs and sick cats... Lately I have rescued 4 cats in my neighborhood and found a home for one on my own... I also rescued a baby squirrel who has in the past few years now contributed his fatherly DNA to many litters of squirrel babies in my trees! I also have raised Monarch caterpillars in my home, I'm just very keen on learning all I can about any kind of animal (or insect) Ha!

Jane is easy to work with and the dogs were very tired when I got home, which was good for me as I was exhausted from traveling. She went outside of her norm to help us out and put the needs of our dogs first. Really appreciate Jane's flexibility and her care of our beloved pets.

I have a fenced in yard at least 100 feet to run and two actual Dog "RUNS" that can also be used to exercise on. There is shelter from the rain and two warm dog houses outside but normally don’t leave my dogs outdoors when I’m not home, As there is a barking ordinance In Otsego- five minutes maximum! I promise To treat your dog like my own two fur babies! Plus I give great dog massages! I basically need a 'T' shirt that says "Let the DOG out - Let the DOG in & NO Barking while you'r out there!" I thought I was pretty good at training dogs Not to bark until I got a Papillon!

Let me know if your pet has any special needs that I can attend to or 'work' on, Be honest if your dog throws up a lot or disappears to piddle... etc. So I can watch for those things. I am very understanding of many problems animals can exhibit, and will always treat them with kindness but firmness and CONSISTENCY which is what everyone needs.
A typical day
I have to honestly say I don't walk my two dogs very often, although they do get to run in their fenced yard and also outside the fence when I'm with them... I will follow your instructions to the letter if I am in charge of your pet... I love to engage play and the carpeted stairs! Lot's of fetching up and down the hall and steps! Trick Training with Treats the three "T"s is also high on my list... Then there's chew time with either rawhide, rings or cheese filled KONGS! My dogs are only board when I'm not home!

Availability
I’m currently working part time only three days a week so my availability is mostly Friday through Monday… I have watched animals all week but they would need to be crated/confined or outdoors while I was at work.. Approx. seven hours. Unless they can be trusted to not relieve themselves inside…😘
