Pet care experience
Animal care has always been a major part of my life. I'm comfortable caring for animals big and small, domestic and farm animals, furry fuzzy or feathered. My years of experience comes from house sitting, working at a boarding kennel, and being a pet mom to many different breeds and species. In my home, we take animal safety seriously and always use caution if introducing dogs to new dogs, during feeding, and when around family members. Every pet that comes through becomes a member of our family during their stay. My family often helps to make sure your animals get plenty of play/people time, exercise, supervision, and, most importantly, pettings. Animal safety and care is our top priority. **For drop-in/house sitting, rates may change according to location**
Reviews
My pups had a great time staying with Jane and her family! Throughout the time we were gone we received the best communication which really purs your mind at ease! I highly recommend her services!
Great place for active dogs that like to run. Jane did a real good job with my two Aussies. Definitely recommend and I’ll use her again!
My dog loves her vacation home with Jane! I get so many photos & videos throughout our trip - makes me feel so good knowing my pup is so well taken care of! 💕
This is the second time Jane has taken care of Lucy, and she'll be my go-to furbaby mama as long as she's available. She takes the best pics and videos, and Lucy is always excited to see her. I can't recommend her highly enough!

We have a large fenced in back yard for regular potty breaks and play time as well as 5-fenced-acres for additional exercise. Dogs with good recall (or that don't want to eat our chickens) get to be off leash on the fenced 5 acres. We have 4 dogs, 2 cats, geese, chickens, goats, and ducks. If doggy playmates are desired, mine do well with others. We have a separate, climate controlled casita where we house boarding animals. We prefer to only host crate/kennel trained animals as it is the safest with our dogs and kids. We do make exceptions for well behaved dogs, for puppies, or if we don't have other boarding/day care dogs.

Information Jane M. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if your dog is kennel trained. How is your dog's behavior around other animals or children (good, bad, or unknown). How does your dog do on a leash? please let me know if your dog has behavior quirks such as being afraid of thunder, chasing cats, being an escape artist, loving watermelon (my dogs are weirdly crazy for it!), or anything specific to your pet. For cats and caged critters, any insight to their typical routine and how exposed they are to other animals and environments.
A typical day
We have a ton of space for supervised exploration. I often feel like dogs are on an adventure stay while with us as they get to experience all of the fun of rural living and farm life! We have a lot to smell and explore. We go on daily walks around the property as well as regular yard play times. We allow access to cooling pools for the water-loving doggies. Although they often leave messier than they came. My goal is for all animals to leave the farm happy, tired, well-played, and loved!

I'm a stay-at-home mom so flexibility is my game! We are hobby farmers so we are up early and spend a lot of time outside. My kiddos and husband are often a big part of caring for animals and giving pettings. My day to day typically revolves around animal care and people care.
