Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner for over 25 years, and my dog-loving husband and I have been trusted dog sitters for countless friends' and family members' dogs. I've had Rover clients since 2018, and earned 5 star reviews from every one. Our last dog was a big 100+ lbs and we love dogs of all sizes. Your dog will get lots of walking, including to the nearby off-leash dog park if you like. I am semi-retired, working part time from home, so your dog will have company all day. We have two dog-friendly cats, in a big house, which your dog will have the run of. I only take one family's dog(s) at a time, so yours will have all our attention. While with me and my husband, your precious pup will be treated like our own dogs were: a member of the family.

Jane sat my dog on Canada Day long weekend. It was the first time Cricket (who is a recent rescue) was not with me so I was a little nervous but Jane sent pictures and kept me posted. When I got home, Cricket was healthy and happy. Thanks Jane.

A typical day
We will walk to an off leash dog park 10 minutes away. If you don't want your pup at a dog park, no problem. We will walk through our quiet residential area. I also have a grassy back yard for quick breaks and on-leash play. Your dog is never left alone outside. At home your dog is welcome to snuggle up with me on the den couch while I read or watch T.V., and she/he can stay near me in my sunny home office while I work part time. Your pup will have the run of the house. I will walk your dog at least three times, more often if the weather is good.
