Pet care experience
I have been working with animals since high school and through the years have become a veterinary technician (although now I’m a manager at a vet hospital and don’t get to work as hands on with animals). I can provide some fun and love while you are away from your pet as well as provide basic medical care if necessary! I have also worked for 10+ years as an animal trainer (marine mammals, to rhinos, to dogs and cats!). I’d be happy to also help with any training questions or issues you might have. There’s nothing I love more than seeing a happy dog smile and seeing the love in their eyes or to make a cat feel comfortable enough to get cozy in my lap. I’m more available for evenings, overnight sitting, or weekends rather than drop ins due to my work schedule. However, if your location is close enough, I’m sure I could squeeze in a quick midday visit for some love and bathroom break!

The main thing I’d need to know about a dog is if there are any aggression issues. Do they get along well with other dogs? Do they like to go to dog parks or the beach or do they prefer more solitary fun?
A typical day
This is dependent on the pet but dogs parks, beach runs, and hiking are my go to activities. If they are not comfortable in those environments, a long walk or playing the backyard are just as great!

I work Mon-Fri 9-5. I’d be available evenings and weekends and longer, overnight sitting stays. If you were located close enough, I’d also be able to make a midday stop to your pet out for a bathroom break.
