I have been around dogs my entire life and love them! To me, dogs are a huge part of my family and I have taken care of the family dog(s) for years. I have always been around large breed dogs and am capable of handling them. My best friend during my childhood was a 100+ lb Curly Coated Retriever. Gulliver is my current companion. He is a goofy 150+ lb Great Dane puppy and is just about 3 years old. Before I was old enough to be employed, I would often pet sit for neighbors or friends. In high school, I fostered dogs for the Wake County Animal Center. Having raised multiple puppies, including Gulliver, from 8 weeks old, I am well equipped in dealing with puppies. I am able to administer basic dog care needs. If needed, I can brush them out and help potty train. When staying with me, I will make sure your dog has good quality time with me, that being playing fetch, going on walks, or my favorite, cuddling! I have never personally owned a cat, but I do have experience in pet sitting them! I am more than happy to watch your furry feline as well. I am a full time student and also work another part time job. Because of this, my availability can differ, depending on the week. For house sitting, I do like to stay the night and try to spend my entire day there.
