Pet care experience
I grew up having and takin care of pets. I have 5 cats and 2 dogs (can't board pets!). I love animals and will do anything to keep them safe and happy! I can work with puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, even senior dogs and cats. I enjoy relaxing or playing with a pet and creating that special bond with them because having a connection with an animal can feel really special and it's eye-opening.

Janae has been around animals since she born into this world which she inherited from her mother who also is an animal lover. They both have rescued animals and foster them. I make sure doors and windows, anything, are locked so that pets don't escape. They tend to be curious of the outside world and would want to explore it however they can be eaten or ran over by a car and I'd hate to break that sad news to the fur baby's parents. I also make sure no tiny, swallow-able objects are on the ground so that pets don't accidentally eat it and potentially harm their insides. I also approach in a slow, calming manner so that the pet can trust and start building interest in me.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, I'll still take care of your pet but I'd like to know beforehand so I know what to prepare and I'd like to be taught on how to take care of them. Also, let me know if you would like hourly updates on your pet to confirm safety and the wellbeing, if possible I can send images of your pet as well to ensure reassurance.
A typical day
For walking, I like to go on trails, or walk the park. If its warm and sunny outside, I like to take the dog out either on the front yard or back yard and just chill in the sun. I can do the same with a cat if they have a pet stroller or a cat leash. I also like throwing toys and seeing the dogs or cats run after them and watch them throw it in the air or come back to me with the toy.

Availability
I'm currently full time in college, however, I have 2 classes in person and 2 classes online. M&W: 11:30AM-12:45PM, T&TH: 10AM-11:15AM for the in-person classes. I can pet sit in your home M-TH after 1pm and will work until 5pm, I'd like to be full-time pet sitter :). I cannot have pets come to my home since I'm 18, living with my mom and we have our own pets and we don't want to risk any conflicts or issues. I must have weekends off to study, babysit little cousins and my volunteering hours at the local cat shelter.
