Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Janae and I have been around dogs my entire life. I have trained, boarded, and worked with canines for the past twenty years. I am retired law enforcement and have years of experience with high drive/working dogs. I also have a soft spot for rescues, nervous dogs, and senior/disabled pups. I have plenty of personal experience with administering medication (via needle, oral, etc), dealing with nervous tendencies, belly bands/diapers, etc. I feed my dogs a raw diet and have no problems accommodating any dietary needs your dog requires. My dogs and dogs staying with me live the pampered spoiled life. I was also raised around livestock and currently have a small farm. If you need other animals cared for, that can be arranged!

Janae was amazing with our rambunctious 10 month old puppy Gizmo. He was in doggy heaven! He got great and much needed exercise and fun! Great communication and lots of pictures. She is highly recommended!
We came to the area for vacation from 13 hours away and brought our puppy, I found Janae on this app, and it was my FIRST time using it and having our puppy away from us. She took great care of him, kept us updated through the day, and sent us so many pictures. If we ever vacation down here again, I will definitely use janae again.

I live on a thirty acre farm with two ponds and a fully fenced five acre field. While dogs are outside walking the farm with me they will be on a long lead (20 ft) so they can enjoy the smells and freedom. They are allowed to be off leash in the large fenced area where they can run and play fully supervised. They are more than welcome to play and swim in the ponds if the owners approves (I will make sure they are clean before going home). Dogs are never left outside unsupervised or kenneled outside. All dogs will sleep inside in a crate or free roam depending on the owners preferences. I bring the same level of care to your dog if I am caring for it in your own home. I am ok following a 100 item “to do” checklist for your pet because I am the same way when I leave my pets. I have no problem taking photos and videos as well while you’re gone. I'm also willing to grab your mail, water your plants, etc. At this time, I am only able to do drop in visits- unable to stay overnight. If you are new to Rover, let me know. I have a code for first time users to save $20! Just message me before booking!

A typical day
I will tailor your dog's day to his needs. High drive dog? Perfect. I have plenty of mental and physical stimulus on the farm. Dog love to swim and play catch? Perfect! We have two ponds that they are more than welcome to play in! And I'll make sure they're clean before they go home! Have a dog that just wants to relax on the couch with Netflix on all day? I've got a few of those too and plenty of comfy blankets for their relaxation needs. Have a nervous dog that doesn't want anyone near them and honestly you're more nervous over the fact of leaving them anywhere? I've been there! I have several bedrooms that are tailored for your dog. Dog beds under the guest bed so they can hide, and yet still be in a secure room where they will be checked on. I can tailor the plan to however you and your dog see fit!
