I'm Jana, a dog mom of 3 rescue pups- Harper, Ripley and Kiera. They are essentially my fur children and bring so much joy into my life! I've been dog-sitting professionally since 2017, but I've been helping out friends and family with their pets much longer than that. Since I was a kid I've always felt I have a special connection with dogs and the ones I care for always seem to sense that in me right away. I have experience with many different breed sizes & temperaments, house-training, basic grooming & bathing, standard commands as well as positive-reinforcement training. I am pretty much always surrounded by dogs and I wouldn't have it any other way, I absolutely love it! Which is exactly why I can't wait to meet your furbaby! When I'm with your pup, they will be treated with the exact same love and care that I have for my own dogs. When you aren't able to check in on your fur-baby, you'll never have to worry about them. You'll know they have everything from the basic needs to getting extra lovies!

This is our first time using Rover.com service, was a bit skeptical with the process and having a stranger in our house was very uneasy for us. Jana met us prior to our house sitting date,we can tell right away that she is a pet lover. She is very observant and understood our eclectic mix of dogs and their personalities. Jana kept us informed throughout her house sitting with our three pups, she put us at ease with pictures and we can see that the pups were back to their old routine and shenanigans. She is a great companion with the pups, played and cuddled with them. Jana is a great sitter. She is professional, caring, timely and communicative. We will definitely use Jana's service again in the near future.
Jana works with all of out scheduling needs. She is great with Luke and is always on time. We love working with Jana and Luke definitely has a soft spot for his favorite playmate! Thanks again Jana! You rock!

When I'm house sitting, I do my best to keep your pup on their usual schedule. Your home becomes the home base for the duration of the stay. I typically only leave to do errands or check on my own pups if my husband isn't home on the weekends. For stays that extend into the work week, I leave in the afternoons to do my usual rounds of check-ins.

Each dog is unique so I'd like to hear about your dogs personality, any little quirks they have. Do they have any diet restrictions or allergies? Are they very active or lazy? What is their favorite way to play? Tuggies, chase, keep away, fetch?
A typical day
I love playing fetch in the yard and giving belly rubs till their heart is content. Cuddles are also a given. Your pup will be allowed to be their best doggie self!

Availability
Pet care is my full time job, so taking care of dogs is my priority. I provide check-in visits in the afternoons on weekdays and overnight dogsitting on the weekends.
