Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs, cats, and various other pets that kids talk their parents into getting. I currently dog sit for family and friends. Pit Bull mix, Pit Bull/Boxer mix, Lab, Lab/Irish Setter mix, German Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Pug, Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Healer). They range from puppies to senior dogs. Since I no longer have pets and my current living situation doesn't allow for them, sitting is how I get my fix. I grew up with all size dogs, Chihuahua to Great Dane, so I'm comfortable with any size. Multiple pet families are fine as well. I've sat with up to 6 Rhodesian Ridgebacks at one time. I'm happy to administer medications, but not secure with giving shots. Other pets are ok as well, cats, fish, domestic rodents (hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, etc). No reptiles please.

Jana did a fantastic job dog / house sitting for us. She kept in contact with us and sent pictures of the dog. She left the house just like we left it and vaccumed, washed towels & sheets and wiped down surfaces. We are very comfortable having Jana in our home and taking care of our dog. Would absolutely use her again!

I prefer staying in the Owner's home, as I feel pets are happier and more secure at home. I cannot sit at my home, as I can't have pet where I live. I don't do drop in service to walk pets, due to my job. I prefer a fenced in yard, especially for multiple pet families. But will take dogs for a walk or dog park, if they are well behaved. I love to sleep with animals and snuggle on the couch. I'm a great ball thrower and tug o war partner. If you have a cat, I swing a mean cat teaser.

Let me know of any special needs or appointments that will be scheduled while I’m sitting. Ex. Grooming appointments, vet visits or pooper scoopers who will be showing up to clean the yard.
A typical day
I’ll leave activities to you. I wouldn’t want to put your fur baby in an unsafe situation. At home I’m happy to walk your pet and play fetch, or other games. I’m happy to keep up on training or tricks.

Availability
I'm am able to work away from my office, so I will need WIFI access. My work away from the office is flexible so if needed I can be at your home during work hours. No work on the week-ends. Work hours: 6:30am-5:00pm (M-Th) off on Friday’s Office is in Mason, Ohio.
