My love for animals of all kinds led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly University. Later I worked professionally with an array of animal species. My scope of work included caring for sick and injured animals until their release, caring long term for the daily needs of different species, handling and training animals using positive reinforcement techniques, administering basic triage and medications, bottle feeding orphaned animals, and traveling with animals for educational events. In addition to caring for my own cats and dogs, I’ve also been pet sitting for friends, family, and clients for over 20 years. My career has been on hold as I raise my two young children (6 and 8), but now that they are getting older I’m sharing my skills and overflowing love for animals once again. I adore outgoing pups who aren’t shy with their affection, but also cherish the bond that comes from patiently allowing a more timid cat or dog to warm up to me and earn their trust. I believe all animals deserve our care and respect and it’s my honor to help care for them.
