Pet care experience
I'm available for cat-sitting and visits or dog-sitting and walks. I've been an animal lover from a very young age. I can't imagine not having pets in my life. I have volunteered with the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society for four years. Also, I was a foster for Cat Town in Oakland for over a year. I've cared for other cats or dogs on a short-term basis as needed. My current job allows me the freedom to begin pet sitting again. So here I am, excited to meet your fur babies. 😊 I've had pets throughout my life. I think of them as beloved family members. I'm currently a part-time content editor working from home, which allows me the flexibility to care for your cat or dog. I'd love to hear about your pet and your needs. We needed a cat sitter on relatively short notice and hired Jana for the job. Upon meeting we found Jana to be delightful, calm, and reassuring. She took excellent care of our cats while away and sent daily updates, which we appreciated. It was clear that our fur babies were well cared for and got plenty of attention and playtime. We highly recommend hiring Jana for cat sitting! She’s an excellent catsitter!!

While cat or dog sitting in a client’s house I act the way I would want someone to act in my home while pet sitting. The pet is my number one concern. I ensure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away. I adapt to the pet’s personality and behavior to help them feel as comfortable as possible. I’m pretty good at making pet friends. Also, I keep the house tidy, do dishes, clean up after the pets, and I’m respectful of your privacy.
