Pet care experience
Fostering dogs for Southern California Lab and Retriever Rescue was the most rewarding experience for me. I worked with so many unique dogs and met amazing people in the industry. I have 2 rescue labs of my own but we don’t have cats any longer. I want to make my visits with your pet fun so that your pet feels engaged and happy. I am energetic and enjoy the companionship of all animals. You can relax and enjoy your work day or your vacation time knowing that your loved one will be having a good time! I will be available by text or phone at all times in case you have any concerns or last minute requests. For the love and respect of all animals!

Hello! i’ve known Jan for almost 20 years and I’ve never met a more dedicated animal lover in my life. She has fostered multiple dogs in her home for as long as I’ve known her and cared for them as if they were her own. Very loving, compassionate human being. Once someone meets her they are her lifelong friend, fur baby or otherwise.
Jan is a wonderful lover of all animals! She is passionate about animal abuse and believes all furry kinds deserve love and affection. She fosters dogs and is one of the most responsible pet owners I know! Jan would make a wonderful pet sitter and/or dog walker. She will go out of her way to ensure that your pet is very well taken care of! I wholeheartedly trust Jan to care for my pets as well as any other.
Jan is great with animals and has lots of experience! If she still lived in California, I would trust her to care for my pets. She's good at understanding both a cat and dogs needs and behaviors. All her animals are healthy and she keeps them in shape with regular exercise.
In 2011, my cat went missing from my InLaw’s home in Houston while my husband and I were in the middle of a cross country move. He disappeared and we grieved his loss for many years. In 2019, we received notification that Oscar had been found by Jan, his guardian angel. After finding him as a stray, Jan treated his medical issues (flea infestation, worming, shots, etc) and paid for his boarding so that he could safely have a place to stay until he could return to me in North Carolina (where we currently live). Thankfully we had Oscar microchipped and he had a guardian angel such as Jan to find and rescue him from under a car in a restaurant parking lot. I would trust Jan with any of my animals. She is compassionate and loving.

Availability
I am available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays and in the mornings and evenings Wed-Sunday. Walking, grooming, baths, and training are things I enjoy doing with dogs.
