I am Retired now and need exercise too-want the company of a dog-not quite ready to have my own and there are some great trails / beaches around my home I Love their company and Personalities I do have a preference for Goldens as you can see by my photo. I have been step mom to quite a few and can provide excellent references I am here for spring and summer and fall but do go south for the winters Have a hatchback SUV so would be able to take them to the beach if properly trained to give them a good workout. I can host a medium size dog in my home if they have been trained and are not constant barkers. Just give me a try
