We had a great experience with Jan! We left our 2 dogs, Max and Gracie with Jan for 5 days. I hate leaving them, but this was by far the easiest time. Gracie is a senior dog who doesn't really like other dogs, so being able to leave her in her own home was the best. Usually when we come back they both act weird for a few days (sometimes refusing to eat). But not this time. They were so happy when we got home and were acting like their normal crazy selves. Jan sent us daily updates to let us know how they were doing. It felt great to know they were so well cared for and having fun. I would say that when we got home it was like no one was even there, but that wouldn't be true because I'm pretty sure Jan left it cleaner than we did! Jan was great, our dogs were happy, what more could we ask for.

We choose Jan specifically because she had experience in a Vet's office. We also are fairly overprotective of our dogs, because of a previous bite incident and our dogs not having been socialized with other dogs, so in-home sitting was our best option when going out of town. We went out of town for 10 days and during this time we got pictures and updates on our doggies and she stayed overnight with them, so the dogs felt comfortable the entire time as they were in their own home and just had a new friend staying with them for those 10 days. We had tried taking them to a local boarding place, but wasn't happy watching the cameras and seeing our dogs ignored during day care so we wanted in-home care and Jan did a great job, I cannot stress enough how relieved we were during our trip to see our doggies playing and resting with Jan. Would highly recommend her to other clients and plan on using her again in the future!
