Caring, responsible, dog loving

Pet care experience

As someone who travels and needs dog care myself, I know the worry that comes with leaving a member of your family to someone else to care for, whether if is for a short or long period of time. You can be rest-assured your dog(s) will be cared for as if they are my own so you can be stress free. They will be fed, loved, played with, walked, and treated as a member of my family while in my home.

Jammie is an outstanding dog sitter. Sheba was well taken care of. I received numerous correspondence text messages and pictures of them on walks and such. I would highly recommend Jammie to any dog service that a Rover client needed.

Jammie did an outstanding job dog-sitting/walking. He took extra care of my 12 year old bulldog Reggie (who has separation anxiety) and my 16 month old bulldog Diesel. I would highly recommend him, and I hope to continue using him in the future.

Jammie watched my little pup, Ling for a few days recently. Ling is picky around new people; however, she just loved Jammie. He was professional and provided her with a lot of attention. When requested, Jammie also sent frequent pictures of Ling playing. That was a relief since I rarely leave her alone. Your dog would be lucky if Jammie watched him or her.

When we lived in Vegas Jammie was our go to dog sitter! He gave our energetic lab/boxer mix so much love and attention she never wanted to leave! His Dogs are great and got along so well with ours! You won't find a more caring and responsible sitter than Jammie. 5 stars all the way! Trust me your dog will feel right at home with Jammie!

Information Jammie A. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know your dog’s routine. What will you and your dog expect of me? How often should I walk your dog? How often does your dog eat? What kinds of games does he/she like to do? What does your dog not like? Does anything scare your dog? Additionally, do you kennel your dog during the day? What kinds of trouble does your dog get into? (mine love the tissues in the bathroom ) These are all things we can discuss during our first meeting or phone call.

A typical day

Your Pet's Routine All dogs have different routines; with that said, before watching your dog I would prefer a meeting, maybe at a park or something, where our dogs can meet and you can explain your pet's routine. If we are not able to meet in person prior to me watching your dog, a phone call to discuss your pet's routine would work as well. Since I am watching your pet, I would adhere to your pet's routine as much as possible, such as when to walk and feed your pet. I know it is important for your pet to stay in their routine as much as possible. Activities for your Dog I typically walk my dogs at least once a day and would include your pet in these activities. I live in a large neighborhood with plenty of space to walk the dogs. Additionally, there is a park just a couple block away that we like to take our dogs to as well. My back yard is pretty large, for Las Vegas anyway, and I typically play catch back there. Of course I would include your pet in these games as well. My dogs are afraid of the pool, but if you dog likes to swim, that would be a fun activity for them as well. And then of course there is cuddling, my dogs love that. If that is something your dog likes, he/she would be included as well. My goal while watching your dog is to adhere to their routine as much as possible, make their stay fun, and ensure you that you can take your trip and be worry free. Your dog would be part of my family during their stay. My Availability I do work full time, but I do not have a set schedule. I would be able to walk your dog in the morning and after work, if that is your routine. Additionally, I can go home for lunch to walk your dog if needed. I typically walk mine in the morning and in the evening as they are able to make it through the day. If your dog is not, I can accommodate their needs.
