I learned a lot about dog play and behaviors working at a dog park. I also rescued my dog off the street who was strong and reactive so we went through a lot of training. Sadly, he passed away from Cushings a couple months ago but having 3 dogs at a time (and a cat) was the happiest and most fulfilled I have ever been. They have so much unconditional love! It is my mission to treat every animal with all the love they deserve in return!

Jaime is a wonderful house sitter/ dog sitter. There was a lot of ball play with the playful Labs. Even with their different personalities, she met the playing and loving needs. The pictures and videos were wonderful! I feel our pups could not have been in better hands!
Jamie took amazing care of my senior dog and cats. My flight ended up getting delayed multiple times and she went back to make sure all of my babies were looked after. Highly recommend and will be booking her again.
Jamie is truly a pet whisperer! She is kind and patient with all of our animals, respectful of their, and our, needs and playfully engaging them the entire time. She’s very knowledgeable on encouraging and discouraging their behaviors when needed. She sends the most amazing videos and photos of them to keep us up-to-date on their well-being and adventures. Jamie is also well-versed on their health and nutritional needs and is willing to go the extra mile for those who need extra support in these areas. We trust Jamie with any and all of our pets!

Safety comes first when dogs are in my care. I will always be double checking leash holds and our environment. Other than that, I like to use enrichment toys to keep my dogs challenged and entertained or throw a ball to wear them out.

Having a heads up about a dog's temperament or triggers is very helpful to know. I am used to more boisterously friendly dogs and know how to handle “handfuls”. I am also used to looking for signs that a dog is reactive and will work to steer the dog out of the situation/practice some coping mechanisms.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs down on their level and use puzzles or games to give them further enrichment. On walks, if they want to stop and smell things, I’m in no rush. I just want them to have fun and be stimulated.

Availability
I have pretty open and flexible availability throughout the week and weekends. Pets are awesome and if I can meet new ones daily, that's a win in my book.
