Pet care experience
**** UPDATE: I will be on spring break from March 17th-24th so I will be available to pet sit FULL TIME!**** Hello! I am currently available for pet sitting/walking. I have been working as a vet tech (now senior technician) at an animal emergency hospital since I was 14 and have exceptional experience with most small animals (cats, dogs, etc.) I am comfortable administering any medication needed (including insulin shots). If allowed, I always have dog treats on me and am willing to use them! (Don’t worry, I won’t over-do it ?) I absolutely love working with animals and hope this opportunity will help me gain new and unique experiences with animal husbandry in a very personal setting. Upon request, I am available for pet sitting farm animals as well! I am currently in my undergraduate studies to study veterinary medicine, so I will need to be able to leave your house for 3-4 hour periods max throughout the day if pet sitting for an extended period of time. I have a special place in my heart for all animals and would absolutely love caring for your best friend!

The only thing I’d like to be aware of with your pet is it’s temperment towards new people. Also, it would be useful to know if your pet it aggressive towards anything in your home such as food, it’s crate, your room, etc. so I can be cautious when needed. Don’t worry, I don’t scare easy! It’s just better to know and be prepared :) I have worked well with various temperaments.
A typical day
If allowed, I can take pets to the park with no additional transportation fee. (Will not go near other pets for obvious safety reasons) I can also give simple baths with no extra charge if sitting for an extended period of time (overnight or longer; I will need request at least one day in advance) I can provide as much excercise and play time as they need based on your preference and their health.
