Dogs have always been a part of my life from the time I was born and will be forever. I am currently working on my dog training certification through Karen Pryor Academy and volunteering with a local positive reinforcement trainer, so I interact with many dogs of varying temperaments. My household also fosters dogs for a local rescue, so we have experience bringing new dogs into the home and caring for all sorts of needs. My most recent foster was a senior bloodhound with special medical needs throughout her time here inclusive of administering ear medication, dietary restrictions, daily pills, temporary confinement, etc. I am also versed in handling resource guarding at mealtime, fence jumping, and other behavioral concerns. I have prior experience with house sitting to keep pets (cats, fish, small dogs, large dogs, etc) comfortable, happy, and on routine while their family is away.
