Pet care experience
I’ve worked in the animal care field for about 9 years now. I grew up working on a farm. I was a marine mammal trainer for 3 years then moved out to Washington to be a wildlife rehabilitator. I now take care of almost fifty critically endangered red wolves. I am available for dog walks, in home visits and pet sitting. I have three adorable mutts of my own. A small female mix weighing about 18 pounds, a medium female mix weighing about 30 pounds and a male mix weighing about 55 pounds, my dogs love making new friends! I’ve always loved animals and have had great experiences with rover for my own dogs and thought it would be great to try it out! With my animal training and caretaking experience I feel that I’m a great addition to the Rover team!

Jamie was amazing with my two German Shepherds. It was a unique scenario so her husband also stepped in and hung out with my Duke and Daisy during the day while Jamie stayed with them evenings and through the night while I was out of town. When they came to meet me and the dogs - they both clearly knew and understood how to interact with dogs - getting down on the floor to meet them so my pups did not feel intimidated by new people. I could tell Duke and Daisy had new friends immediately. My Duke can be a bit shy around men he does not know - but Stephen knew exactly how to bring Duke around with his calm presence and mannerism. Jamie and Stephen put me at ease about my dogs' care while I was away. They both sent me pictures and videos and followed my care instructions. On the last morning Duke refused to eat or take his medication and Jamie was quick to text me and let me know what was going on - which was much appreciated communication. When I got home the house was just as I had left it with regard to cleanliness. I completely trusted Jamie and Stephen and will for sure be contacting them for my future dog sitting needs.
Jamie takes care of my baby boy every week! She always goes above and beyond to wear him out and make sure he’s happy! She is always reliable and I always smile when she sends me updates! She works with my crazy schedule all the time! I high recommend Jamie! She is very sensitive to all my dogs needs and will take great care or yours too!
I have a large and anxious pointer who can be very wary of strangers. Jamie has always known exactly how to interact with him. She has great knowledge when it comes to animal behavior from a very diverse background in animal care. Jamie is definitely someone who I trust to watch my beloved dog, no matter the situation.
Jamie has the biggest heart for dogs and gives her own the best care and love. I worked with Jamie in the animal care and training field as her supervisor and she is someone I always confided in and trusted to get the job done. When I first became a dog owner, Jamie is somebody I went to for any help or advice. Any dog would be lucky to have Jamie as their sitter or walker, so choose her to look after your furry pals!

I have a fully fenced in yard to better accommodate your pup. Being that we have three dogs of our own we don’t have anything left out that could be dangerous or easily consumed by pets. If your dog is crated we can easily fit a crate anywhere!
