I have had animals my entire life. My parents got our first dog when I was 6 months old, Dixie was a pure breed Black Labrador. Our next dog was Jake, he was a pure breed Yellow Labrador. Dixie and Jake are the two fur babies that my family has lost. Currently we have my best friend Maggie Mae, She is a 13 year old Black Labrador/Rottweiler mix and she chose me when we went to pick out a puppy. Ever since the day we brought her home. With the connection her and I built She is the first fur baby that I was fortunate enough to train. Not only did she grow to be my family, but could have been an ESA animal. Next is Miss Minnie Mouse whom at first was a friend's Standard Dachshund. My friend had to move to a different state and could 3bring Minnie. So it was either we took her in as a member of our family or she went to the pound. We still have her 9 years later. Last but not least there is my 7 year old son's best friend Gibbs. Or as I like to call him "Moose" who is a 4 year old pure breed Chocolate Labrador. For as long as I can remember My Dream Career has been to one day become an ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement Special Agent (Animal Cop). I want to become one of the many individuals that step up to protect and in a way to become the voice for any abused animals. It has always been a passion of mine to help those that cannot help themselves. To me dogs are not just pets, they are members of our families and need to be treated as such.
