We live in a 1 floor, 2 bedroom apartment. There is a living space and a kitchen with a sliding door. the 2nd bedroom, which is my office space can be reserved for your dog. There is also a flight of stairs protected by a baby gate. I have a 3 year old research beagles, she likes to play and is very friendly with dogs and also not overbearing. She socialized and understands when a dog doesn't want to play or can not. For example, she is very gentle with the elderly beagle and never initiates play. With younger dogs she can be possessive if they go after the bone she's chewing on.
