Pet care experience
I have always had pets—cats, dogs, fish, rats, birds, and even snails. I have cared for animals of all ages and types of needs but am particularly well-versed in senior care, including medication , sub-cut fluids, and special comfort for dementia/arthritis. In terms of non-furry pets, I’m an aquarium enthusiast (freshwater) and happy to care for your fish, shrimp, and snails while you’re away; I know the signs to look for in terms of fish illnesses or tank imbalance and will keep you up to date while you’re gone.

Jamie is the best! She is super responsive in communication, sends cute updates and pictures on our little dog, and my family just feels good knowing she's at our house. She's flexible, and always so helpful with random needs like bringing in our excessive packages and mail! Hahaha. We hope she's always available for upcoming times we need to leave town!
This was our second time using Jamie, and again it was such a seamless and wonderful experience for us and our dog! She's very quick to respond to communication, she sends cute updates and any concerns that might come up with our dog, and she's flexible with our schedule when needed. We love that she works from home so around to help with our dogs anxiety when we leave, and always appreciate her little report card on our dog when we get home. Definitely recommend her!😀

I have a fenced yard and two cats at home. Dogs will not be allowed outside unsupervised but will have all the outdoor time they need. Happy to provide all the playtime and/or snuggles they might want!

Please let me know if your pet has any particular needs or idiosyncrasies—I want to make them as comfortable as possible. For instance, are they afraid of storms? Are they allowed in the bed/on your furniture? I’ve even known dogs that are terrified of bare feet! I’d rather get too much information than too little.
A typical day
I try to stick with your pets’ established routine as much as possible. If they like to spend their days napping, we’ll nap it up; if they love to go to coffee shop patios and meet people, I’m happy to take them on a field trip! Please note that I avoid dog parks if at all possible. There are so many variables that can go sideways, and I just want to keep everyone safe.

Availability
I work from home, so I will always be home with your pet while boarding, excluding the odd errand or grocery run. If I’m staying or stopping by your house, I can work from there and keep your friend company if you have Wi-Fi, so my schedule is very flexible.
