I have been caring for animals since I was a child. Animal lover through and through, my mom used to say. I had pet goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, parakeets, mice, lots of fish and a horse. I have helped many people/family with their pets and livestock and have read a considerable amount on all topics about animals. Forming an affectionate bond is what I do. They will love me and so will you!

The safety and wellbeing of your pup is number 1. For walks, if it's a hot summer day I prefer mornings so that your pup's toe beans don't get burnt on the hot afternoon cement. I am very aware of our surroundings and am constantly monitoring the situations we are in and will change route or pause for a rest whenever it's needed and promptly, when walking. I have a working knowledge on canine behavior and body language, so I can understand how your dog is feeling so I can keep them comfy and happy on our journeys. It also helps with knowing whether to avoid another possibly grumpy pup oncoming, in passing, on sidewalks etc. I am also very respectful of my surroundings and if I am in your home I will do the job quickly and without fuss. One last thing, does your dog have quirks? Do they require being held, mid walk or the last ten minutes or something else, like avoiding that "one block" with that "one dog" on it? No prob! I am happy to make your little one happy and keep them safe! Oh! Also please never hesitate to ask me questions or text or anything, I am very easy going to talk to and confident in my pet care. Thank you!! ☺️

A typical day
For our walks, I like to walk depending on what kind of walk your dog prefers. Like a shaded neighborhood, flat streets with lots of soft grass for sniffs, and multiple rest-stops for your senior pup. Or maybe your dog needs to run, I can jog along and we can do more uphills to use up more energy. We can do a fast paced exercise style walk or a slower paced "sniffari" style walk for enrichment.

Schedule updates for Fall 2023: I am available for new clients Wednesday mornings from 8:30-12:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30-3pm. For check-ins at your house or walk pick ups while you are at work, I can let myself in, feed etc. and play/walk etc.
