Hi fellow dog lover! I'm a senior McGill student missing my doggie back home and would love to fill the dog-sized hole in my heart by taking great care of your pup! I'm a huge fan of the outdoors and love walking dogs on the mountain, in Parc La Fontaine, and all around Le Plateau-Mont Royal! There's nothing better than exploring with a dog at your side, and I can't wait to give your dog all the adventure, exercise, sniffing, fresh air, cuddles, and love they deserve! It will be my treat as much as theirs :) When I was 9 I got my first dog. I trained him, walked him, fed him, bathed him, and have loved him from the time he was 4 m/o until his now 14 years! I’ve been dog walking and sitting through rover for 2 summers now and I love meeting new dogs of every age, breed, shape, and size!

Jamie is amazing! She's very open and communicative throughout and always gives detailed updates with lots of pictures to assuage the nervous dog mum tendencies in me. She's really flexible and clearly loves dogs very much. I'd definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future.
Jamie went above and beyond when looking after Baci! She was very communicative, easy to talk to and organize with, super great to Baci, and took wonderful photos! She really made us feel great about getting a dog sitter (this was our first try!), and next time Baci visits we'll definitely be booking her again. Cannot recommend enough!

Before going to the mountain/park, I would like to now if your dog is friendly with other dogs, children, and strangers. Are they used to running on a leash or would they prefer a long walk? I would also like the keep the same rules you do at home: Are they allowed on the furniture? Are they allowed treats? Do you discourage barking? Have any special commands? I don't want to ruin any training! Also, if your dog is older, do they have any special regimes or medication? Finally, because I live in a small apartment complex, I would prefer dogs that don't bark a lot, just to respect the neighbours.
A typical day
I'm lucky to live only a few blocks from Mt Royal, Parc Jeanne Mance, and Parc La Fontaine! I would love to run with your dog on the mountain, or just go on a long walk up - whatever suits them best! My boyfriend and I like to drive to regional parks like St Bruno (only 20 minutes away) for hiking and mountain biking, and if your dog is ok in the car we would love to go for a hike there as well! I live in an apartment with a roof top deck, so when there's down time your dog will be able to hang out outside with me. I also looove cuddles. If your dog is crazy for affection/attention they will not be left wanting!!
