When I was a kid, my parents bred Siberian Huskies. I had hands on puppy patrol in those days. As an adult my first pet was a Lab named Major. One of the greatest loves of my life. He made it almost 15 years with me and followed me the whole way. He was epileptic and took meds daily. As a senior he developed DM which eventually took to much of his motor skills which left him extremely dependent upon me for help. It was too quiet in the house after Major’s passing, so I jumped back in and added Leo the Lion to the family. He’s a 2 year old Lab with a “beats his own drum” motto. Leo lives with me full time and is as easygoing and playful as they come. All dogs entering my home must be Leo approved!!
