Hi, I’m a groomer, walker and offer a drop-in service (once or twice a day) with many years experience. I love meeting new pooches daily! I walk all different sizes dogs from tiny chihuahuas to XL Newfoundlands! I am fully first aid trained in human and canine (my feline first aid is in the process of being completed). I’ve studied Animal Care and Dog Grooming along with the First Aid courses. My experience has varied from working in a zoo on placement, working in catteries and a boxer rescue, along with working in a vets surgery as a groomer (also picked up knowledge on health and well-being) and finally dog grooming salons including my own.

Information required prior to confirming bookings are; Behaviour; are they reactive towards other dogs, people or cars. Health conditions; do they have any health conditions I need to be aware of. I have experience of working with animals with different diseases and disorders. Medications can be administered if required. Probably quite an obvious one but their breed, age and whether they’re a rescue. What time they like to be walked (I’ll keep to your routine as best as possible) if you choose a ‘drop-in’ service, the same applies, we need to know their feeding time as to not upset their routine.
A typical day
On walks, with their favourite treats, we’ll play games such as sit, ‘which hand’ and other mental stimulating games. I’ll stick close to home but if you live by the beach or a country park or a recreational park, we’ll go there. We take Kylie to the beach a lot and are taking her to more and more different country parks. This stimulates her mind with new smells.

Availability
I have a grooming salon so some weeks I have availability more than others. Evenings are pretty open however. I usually start morning and work through until the afternoon but this may change on a weekly basis opening up more time for walking. For the drop-ins, if more in required, I can pop in before work and come back after sticking as closely to your pets routine as possible. If you could advise upon contact what days and times you require, it would be highly appreciated.
