Thanks for your interest in my services! I'm a pet care professional with 16 years of experience caring for animals as my full-time occupation. I am not only pet CPR certified, but I am a certified pet CPR instructor, and a certified feline behaviorist. I am a college graduate with a degree in business that has left the corporate world behind and made pet sitting and dog walking my full time career. This is not a hobby for me, this is my passion and I'm blessed to be living my dream! I currently own a successful in-home pet care service, Animal Au Pair Of Pinehurst! Growing up with all kinds of animals, and considering them family, makes working with them in a professional capacity second nature. I feel incredibly grateful and blessed that I have been able to create wonderful relationships with my clients and their beloved pets. My mission has always been focused on providing loving, compassionate, trustworthy and reliable pet services. I am honored to serve the community, receiving tremendous satisfaction from providing my clients’ animals with exemplary care. I look forward to continue providing Pinehurst and Moore County with the best pet care available for many years to come.

We love Jamie, she is a lot more than a pet sitter, we consider her family. She is very detail oriented and not only looks after our pets but notifies us if issues arise at home (we had an odor coming from our sump pump) and of course she has gotten to know our pets so well she knows if they do something out of the ordinary. Her background as a feline behaviorist has also been helpful with our senior cat. Highly recommend!
We have been using Jamie’s services since we moved to Pinehurst in August of 2015. Jamie has always been quick to respond to appointment requests, and has been 100% reliable each time. She also cares for our FOUR dogs and 2 kitties in a manner that makes me confident in their care while I am away - I love getting daily pictures of my babies from her visits! The house is always perfect and the dogs are completely non-stressed when I return. I would recommend her services without reservation.

As a pet care professional and business owner for over 16 years I have experience with all breeds. When I was young, my mother bred Labs and Doberman Pinschers. I love all dogs but my favorites are English Bulldogs and Bassett Hounds...how could you not laugh at those little guys?! It’s very important when selecting a pet sitter that they have knowledge of your breed and feel comfortable with your dog, especially. Hiring a professional that will know how to fit a harness properly, have leash control, and be able to control your dog on a lead should be a high priority. Being an “animal lover” doesn’t make someone experienced, especially with large breeds that can pull. Count on someone that has been pet sitting and dog walking for many years!
