Pet care experience
My fiancé and I have had plenty of experience having pets, but currently we have a pet and child free home. We’ve recently helped both of our parents through the puppy years of their new pets, so we have some familiarity with training too.

We had Jamie and Cory watch our large young and sometimes rambunctious Goldendoodle for a week and they took excellent care of him. We will definately book again!

Jamie & Cory were so great to work with, they were so responsive and great communicators. We had them watch our elderly dog, who has lung cancer, for 8 days. They did everything possible to make her feel at home. Which included daily walks and medicine and they were on top of everything. They were so good with her. They also kept me informed daily on how things were going, which allowed me to enjoy our vacation worry-free. I am just so happy with Rover for providing me with a service to find these amazing people. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their pet loved and cared for while they are away.
Jamie and Cory have been very passionate to care our dog and birds. We boarded our pets for 10 days at their home. They are well prepared to our pets’ needs and informed us daily with mixed pictures and updates. Definitely will use their help for our future pets’ care. Thank you very much!

Pets are generally free to roam anywhere in our home while we are present, unless there are specific circumstances that would require otherwise based on owner recommendations or requests. I generally would plan to be home while caring for any pets, and within the same room as them so they have company. For puppies with lots of energy I’ll do my best to play and keep them entertained. For more relaxed pets they can join us while we sit and watch a movie, work from home, or catch up on our shows. We have a spacious front and backyard for quick walks, and can take them on longer walks through our subdivision.

A typical day
Most afternoons I have time to take pets on a 15-30 minute walk, and/or play time. I work mornings, and my afternoons are flexible to adapt to the pets schedule and energy levels. We have a front and back yard, with a cable tie to allow pets extra freedom and time outdoors when the weather is nice.

Availability
I work part-time, fully remote from our house, and would make sure to be home on any day I’m sitting a pet. I’m flexible with my schedule. I’m also looking to be active, so love any chance for a short or long walk or a trip to a dog park!
