Pet care experience
Born and raised farm girl in Benton where we still have the family farm on which we raise grass fed beef cattle. Can and have taken care of all kinds of animals in my life, 30 years of Animal Care, in both the Veterinary world and as having a variety of various horses, cows, sheep, dogs, cats and chickens of my own. I currently have a 22 year old gelding, Behr, a rescue horse. A Pitbull rescue, Whitley, 3 cats, Cream cheese, Binky and Benedict. Also a variety of poultry and they are all very spoiled! I have taken care of a large sheep farm in Western Maine, worked for a horse stable, have an Associate degree in Small Animal Care as well as Equine Management from UNH. I have worked at local Veterinary Hospitals' as a Veterinary assistant, assisted in many procedures as well assisting in surgery and dentals. I have house and pet sat for family and locals so well versed in taking care of all your pets needs as well as watching your home for you. Needless to say, I have A LOT of experience in any animal care.

It was our first time using Jamie for house and dog sitting. She was quick to respond when needed. The house was just as clean when we get home as when we left and the dogs seemed very happy. I would use this sitter again if available.
Jamie was very communicative and sent pictures and updates regularly. We have a rather large critter family and it can be overwhelming but she was a pro and aced it. We will hire her again soon. We recommend her services
Jamie was terrific. She took care of my 3 older dogs, 1 with health problems, and all went smoothly. The doglets really liked her. I will definitely hire Jamie again to take care of my pups when I travel.
Jamie KNOWS animals! She grew up on a farm - with cows, horses, pigs, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. She has always been an animal person. She has a degree in animal care - she worked in vets offices in central Maine for many years. Her love of animals has continued and she is the mom to a horse, dog, cats and chickens. Animals love her and she loves animals. She will take fantastic care of all your fur babies.

Availability
I work Monday thru Friday, 7 to 3:30 in Central Maine. I have my own car so I am able to travel and take care of your pets as needed, before and after work. Most of my weekends are free as well.
