Grew up with dogs of different shapes and sizes and have always dreamed of my own furbaby. Life and time circumstances finally made that happen 2 years ago when Riley came into our lives! Riley is a 2-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is a social butterfly and loves every person and dog she meets. Among friends, I am definitely the legit dog mom who threw a big birthday party for her 1st birthday, signed up for training classes (still training even for a few minutes a day!), attended weekly puppy socialization parties and made sure she was exposed to everything in the puppy socialization checklist. I take a million pics that I had to create a separate Instagram for her. Rest assured that I will treat your furbaby like I treat Riley. Before and after I got Riley I would watch friends' pups and loved doing it. I understand all dogs are different and will need varying forms of engagement and activity level. Feel free to ask me questions and let me know about what your pup likes and don't like. I work during the week but have flexibility to work from home or go home at lunch. Just send me a note and we can work something out. I live with my boyfriend who will also be around to give your pup extra love and attention. I'm also very familiar with various collars/harness as I've used them or tried them on Riley to find the best for our needs. The dogs I've watched also use different kinds. I also volunteer at DC Lucky Dogs when I can to help handle dogs at adoption events! Please note that boarding is the overnight rate. Depending on the time of pick up the next day there might be an extra charge (from $10 to daycare fee). Please note what time you are dropping off and picking up. Daycare is based on a 9 hour day. I can also pick up/drop off depending on location for a fee. A bath can also be requested for a fee. Since we live in an apartment I can't take any dogs that are big barkers especially when left alone. I do have a fulltime job from 9 to 5 but mostly home on weekends to spend time with my pup. Live close to work so I'm home by 5:15 to 5:30 PM. If your dog is a chewer then they will need to be crate trained. We try to take her everywhere with us on weekends if possible.
