I highly recommend Jami. She made an extra effort to work around her schedule to watch our 2 beagles. One of them is only 5 months old so I know it wasn’t an easy task. This is the second time we used her and will definitely call her again.
Jami is the best! She really cares and treats my pups as her own. She is so communicative and provides so many pictures of them during the stay. I have a special needs dog and it's difficult to find someone I can rely on to keep her on the pill schedule and well while I'm gone. Jami has gone above and beyond. You rock Jami!

I continued my passion with animals by getting a job at a veterinary clinic in the boarding department, so I am with dogs, and sometimes cats, all day! My typical schedule is from 7:30am-5:00 Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. (Though this does switch up sometimes, and I tend to get out early if we aren’t too busy.) I have the other 3 days free to care for your pets, and on the 4 days I work, I am able to provide care after my shifts if needed. Just reach out and we’ll figure something out! I always do my very best to accommodate whatever your pet's needs are. I have some cross-training as a grooming assistant, and can bathe, dry and brush your furry best friend during drop in visits and overnight stays, for $10 extra. :) If I’ll be staying overnight, as long as your pets are allowed on the furniture, I always invite them to sleep with me. Rest assured that your adorable baby will be incredibly safe and happy in my care!

Any general information about your pet will be helpful! Such as: allergies, special needs, temperament, typical behavior, feeding/bathroom schedule, etc! I can accommodate almost anything, and have dealt with all of that before. Additionally, if you also have small pets such as hamsters, chickens, or fish, (etc) I can feed them for free while caring for your cat or dog.
A typical day
I offer dog walking, house sitting and drop in visits in Orcutt, Santa Maria, Los Alamos, Buellton, and Lompoc (including the base if you’re able to get me a pass). I enjoy taking dogs on walks, whether that be to parks, trails, or just the surrounding neighborhood. I also love playing with pets in the backyard/with their favorite toys, or just snuggling on the couch. Sometimes I even will bring treats for your companion, or take them in the car with me to Starbucks/Dutch Bros and get pup cups! (With your approval, of course!) Whatever works for your pet, works for me! I’m looking forward to meeting you and your furry family!

Availability
Animals have always been my passion, and everyone always says I truly am most comfortable and happy when I’m around them. In 2021, I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Allan Hancock College. I have been trained in veterinary medicine so I take safety very seriously, and will be looking after your pets with an experienced eye, and will notice any physical or behavioral changes that may be appearing. I also have experience administering medication, and love teaching dogs new tricks! Along with that, I’ve recently become Fear Free certified!
