This was our first time having James watch our dog. We were very disappointed with the experience. This biggest issue with the stay was that James had a house guest who allowed our dog to escape the house (we assume accidentally, but feel this was negligent nonetheless, as this is something you would be extra careful about while watching an unfamiliar dog). Our dog was only found some time later by a group of kind neighbors. When these neighbors called we had no idea our dog had been lost, James hadn't called us. He did eventually text us and he did, kindly, take our dogs stuff to a friend we chose to have our dog stay with after the event. While James had primarily positive reviews prior to this experience, we felt the responsible thing to do is to share this experience with our dog owners to make their own decision.

James was great and my dog seemed happy.
