Dog loving Veteran and family man

Pet care experience

I recently had to put to rest our sweet Annie who I rescued as soon as I came home from overseas. She was a terrier/lab mix who came to us with kennel cough, heart worms, and 20 lbs under weight while recovering from a recent litter of pups. We nursed her back to health and provided for her every comfort :), as she looked after us. During my time in service I worked with many dogs, including rescuing and providing forever homes. I believe it is extremely important to properly communicate with a dog (both verbal and non-verbal) to show them respect and begin to earn their trust. Consistency of action is extremely important, from the manner in which you greet the dog to how you prepare them for a walk. Dogs can read your energy and sincerity, so it pays to have positive aspects of both.

I've never met anyone who loves dogs more than Jim Wallack. He literally lights up with laughter when he sees any dog, whether on the trail, or in a movie. His care and dedication to these beautiful pups is that of a father to his newborn child. Jim's background in protection as an Army Ranger and Captain overseeing thousands of men, and his honorable duty for our Country is now home and directed to his love and concern for dogs. While he was oversees and in the desert, he was often found feeding and resuing wild desert dogs. He has rescued, volunteers at shelters, and consistently is an advocate for responsible, holistic pet care. You can be certain that Jim will not only love your dog, he will focus all of his attention in joyful, play with them, all while making sure your pet is fully protected. Jim's character is impeccable. He is honorable, friendly, always on time, honest, dependable, clean cut and deeply respectful of your home.
