My father owned and operated a pet store for 7 years in Glasgow Kentucky, between the years of 2010 and 2017. Their focus and goal was on pet health, longevity, and quality of living. As such, I have much experience dealing with/caring for pets of a garden variety! I can even give a little bit of dietary advice, though I would always encourage you to do your own follow-up research because science is always changing! Beyond that, my father was also a reptile and small rodent breeder during my childhood.
