I currently have a 3 legged terrier mix who is a rescue and have grown up with dogs in the past. As a child I grew up with an active Labrador retriever, which sparked my love of pets. In the past I have cared for my co-workers pets, which also taught me that I am allergic to cats. I find great joy in caring for animals, even when they can be a bit naughty. My patience is my greatest trait, which has been useful when my dog was but a pup. Although I adore dogs, I can't have another one of my own until I complete graduate school. What that means for you is that I have some flexibility on my availability and can work around my schedule. I plan for open weekend availability and extended care with advanced notice.
