Pet care experience
Howdy! I'm James- I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I will gladly adapt to about any type or temperament, though at my core, I'm a very active person, a great fit for dogs with a lot of energy, who need much exercise. I may chase your dog around the living room, play tug-of-war, or I may teach your dog new tricks- if that's okay with you. I grew up with dogs, beginning in fifth grade. At that time, I began to raise four puppies- Ares, Florida, Carolina, amd Mike... that's how I discovered my love for dogs, and overcame my fear of animals. Since then, I absolutely love to be with dogs, though I will work with other pets that you may have as well. I find that when I assume an open and non-threatening posture, the dog is then comfortable approaching me... And then we start to have fun! I am a Rover sitter because I want something to do besides my current full-time job and online classes, and I don't have my own dog currently. My current job is fairly flexible, and I largely determine my own schedule. I have given dogs oral medication before, and I have vaccinated farm animals... if you would like to teach me how to meet any exceptional medical needs for your furry friend, I would love to learn!

Information James M. would like to know about your pet
I gladly work with any breed of dog. My questions for you: 1. What could cause your dog to become aggressive? 2. What are the medical needs/sensitivities of your dog? 3. Are there any specific quirks about your dog that you wish for me to know beforehand? 4. What is your dog's name?
A typical day
Depending on the dog and owner's preferences, we will walk for multiple miles, maybe run, explore nearby parks, play fetch, tug-of-war, and when your pup is worn out, we may watch a movie together.
