I grew up taking care of my fathers brittanys- energetic hunting dogs. I have spent my whole life grooming, feeding, walking, and bathing them. I am very good with dogs; I have the energy to give them the exercise they need, and I am good at understanding when they're trying to communicate a need. If a dog needs space, I'm happy to provide it. If they need extra attention I can do that too. I am diligent and patient about cleaning up after potential messes. I am a dog lover- no matter what kind of dog I see, I'm happy to see it (And they're usually happy to see me, I've found!). Additionally I've also helped relatives take care of their cats, and I have just as much patience for their quirks as I do dogs', in case you happen to have cats as well as dogs. More recently (After my move out to Utah), I've become the part-time caretaker of my roommates' dog, an energetic but well-behaved Staffordshire Terrier. I routinely take her on long walks alongside the Jordan River.
