As soon as we were lucky enough to buy our own house, we adopted our lurcher Logan from Cardiff Dogs Home 2 years ago and have never looked back, it's been a learning experience but we have loved every minute. Logan is a high-energy, couch potato who thinks all furniture was made for him and would be happy to share his sofa with another dog. He can be nervous at first so we would encourage introductions to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. We are situated within walking distance of a number of parks in Cardiff including Pontcanna fields, Bute park, Thompson's park, and Victoria Park. We are also close to a number of quieter woodland walks, perfect for dogs who like to explore with fewer people/dog distractions. We have a car and would be happy to take your dog with us on longer walks as we love exploring new places. My partner and I work from home on a flexible basis, meaning someone will always be at home with the dogs during their stay. We would send regular updates whilst your dog is with us to put your mind at ease. We have found that it works best when we meet you with your dog and then introduce our dog Logan at a second meet and greet. This allows you and your dog to get to know us and ensures the experience isn't too overwhelming if your dog is particularly nervous around people or other dogs.
